Foreign students of Kazan Federal University from Turkmenistan met with the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan
Our state takes all kinds of measures to make Russian professional education more attractive and support foreign students, because it is important for them to have all conditions for productive study and decent life, and for all their rights to be respected and protected.
Cooperation between Turkmenistan and Tatarstan, aimed at strengthening relations between Russia and Turkmenistan, is developing rapidly today. Our task is to provide all-round support and assistance to those who have decided to link at least part of their life with Tatarstan.
Today we met with students of K(P)FU from Turkmenistan in the Peoples' Friendship House. I would like to note that the issues raised were really serious: the internal regulations of the university and the norms of the Russian legislation.
I believe that these meetings are very effective and necessary, because the adaptation period is the most difficult time for the students.
