“One-click Housing and Utilities”

The Association “Regional Center for Public Control in the Housing and Utilities Sector of the Republic of Tatarstan” launched the project “Housing and Utilities in One Click” within the framework of the contest for granting grants to non-profit organizations implementing socially important projects in the municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan 2023.

The “Housing and Utilities in One Click” project is a specialized training site for the elderly and visually impaired (https://xn--f1aefabe2e.xn--p1ai/), where instructions on how to solve issues in the sphere of receiving quality and safe housing and communal services (hereinafter referred to as “HCS”) are placed in a convenient format to help residents.

Thanks to the simple and clear interface of the site, as well as the increased font and color scheme of the site will be easy to use for elderly residents and people with visual disabilities. All information resources on housing and communal services are integrated into the site and everything is presented in an accessible and understandable language, from tariff formation to how to remotely leave proposals to your managing organization or authority, submit meter readings, take part in online voting.

Block structure of the site will allow to place both actual information on housing and communal services, and step-by-step instructions for solving issues: filing appeals to the managing organization, supervisory authorities and resource organizations, forms of acts on the provision of poor-quality housing and communal services.

This project will make it possible, by following the step-by-step instructions, to get from one site to any Internet resource of the housing and utilities sector of the Republic of Tatarstan, depending on the subject matter of the issue that needs to be solved by the resident.

 “Housing and Utilities in One Click” is the first Internet resource in the Republic of Tatarstan on housing and utilities issues for people with visual impairments. There are no analogs of this project in the Republic, which further increases its relevance and necessity.
