All-Russian Women's Forum “Women: Preserving Traditions - Developing Russia”

5 March 2024, Tuesday

The All-Russian Women's Forum “Women: Preserving Traditions - Developing Russia” within the framework of the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia” started its work in Moscow.

Woman is the hearth, the center of the family, which makes the theme of the forum even more relevant. Almost the entire space of the Exhibition of National Economic Achievements (VDNKh) during the forum days is “for women and about women, about those whom we can be proud of today”.

Forum guests and participants attend thematic sessions, discussions, presentations, exhibitions, and shows of collections by Russian women designers, which shows the significance and value of the modern woman in society.

The regional platform of Tatarstan on the first day of the forum brought together quite different speakers: from designers, philanthropists to heads of state bodies and deputies of various levels.

The head of the association of women deputies of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, Alsu Nabieva, today presented a wonderful book, which contains all the famous women of Tatarstan - “Women's Names of the Republic of Tatarstan: Volume 1: History and Modernity”. Among, not afraid of this word, great women it was nice to see myself. The collection is aimed at popularization of information about women who made a special contribution to the socio-economic, political development of the republic, culture, science, education and sports.

During the session she talked about our very difficult job - protecting people and their rights. How can we keep people's trust and protect them from violations of their rights? How to develop people's confidence that it is the state that stands up for the protection of their rights? We talked about how responsible the task is for state human rights defenders.

It is wonderful that such events are held at such a high, federal level! This especially shows that women are important, necessary and significant in today's realities.
