Extended meeting of the final board of the Ministry of Transport and Road Facilities of the Republic of Tatarstan
In the Republic of Tatarstan, about 250 billion rubles will be allocated for road construction in 2023, this is a significant amount of money and a huge amount of work. This was announced today by Rustam Minnikhanov, the Rais of Tatarstan, at the enlarged meeting of the final board of the Ministry of Transport and Roads of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Today the developed transport system makes Tatarstan a major logistics center. Federal and regional highways, rural roads are annually reconstructed. The road and street network in settlements is brought to a standard condition, and artificial road structures, such as bridges and crossings, are being overhauled and constructed. In the past year, traffic was opened on a new section of the M-12 “Vostok” highway to Kazan, construction of sections of the M-7 “Volga” federal highway, the Shali-Bavly regional highway, outbound highways and urban highways of Kazan continues.
We see that the measures taken by the Government of Russia and Tatarstan reduce the number of citizens' appeals on road issues received through the feedback channels of SIS RT “ Public Control”, Public Services Feedback Platform “Deciding Together”, as well as social networks (2022 - 37,291, 2023 - 32887). In their appeals, residents point out the maintenance and repair of roads, public transportation, maintenance of street and road network facilities in winter, lighting.
A total of 4,691 notifications were received in the RT SIS “ Public Control” in the category “Roads” in 2023, of which 74% or 3,473 notifications were resolved.
Protecting the rights and interests of the residents of our republic, solving the tasks we face in considering citizens' appeals, we should not forget that behind everyone is an important issue of safe and comfortable living conditions for our citizens, which are an important component of the quality of life of the population. And it is in our power and only together we can solve all the problems in the interests of every family and every citizen of the Republic of Tatarstan.
