Meeting of the Presidium of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan
The 50th meeting of the State Council of the 6th convocation will be held on December 18 at 10 pm. Such a decision was made today at a meeting of the Presidium of Parliament. It is planned to consider 19 issues, including 7 republican bills and a number of decisions of the State Council.
The Head of Parliament briefly told about the important events that have taken place in the republic in recent years. Recalling that on December 7 the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation set the election of the President of the country for March 17-19, 2024, Farid Mukhametshin expressed confidence that the Tatars will show traditional activity and unanimously support Vladimir Putin’s candidacy.
At the 50th meeting it is planned to adopt in general the Outline plan of legislative work in the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2024 and the Outline plan of cooperation of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan with the parliaments of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, other states and international parliamentary organizations for 2024.
Svetlana Zakharova said that on November 30, 2023, the federal law «On employment of the population in the Russian Federation» was adopted, which provides for changes aimed at protecting the labour rights of persons with disabilities, expanding the quota of jobs for this category of citizens, At the same time, quotas for the employment of persons with disabilities will be established on the basis of the employment needs of persons with disabilities and the economic possibilities of the subject of the Russian Federation. After approval, signature and official publication of the law, it will be necessary to make amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan.
