Teaching of the School of Legal Knowledge for parents (legal representatives) of disabled children
This social project, aimed at providing free legal assistance and legal education to citizens who are parents (legal representatives) of children with disabilities, has been under way since 2020.
Today, more than 11 million Russians have disabilities, more than 700,000 of whom are children. By law, children with disabilities can obtain a braille display and on-screen access software in case of combined impairment of sensory functions - vision and hearing. At the same time, blind children - students of special educational institutions - are taught to use the Braille script and alphabet. These and other technical means of rehabilitation of the disabled were discussed at today’s session of the School of Legal Knowledge for Parents (Legal Representatives) of Children with Disabilities.
