Meeting of the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan with members of the Asian Ombudsman Association
Today in Kazan will be a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Asian Association of Ombudsman, before which the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Khayrulovich Mukhametshin met with its members, Tatyana Moskalkova, Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, and welcomed them to the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Human Rights Commissioner of the Russian Federation, Tatiana Moskalkova: For many years the Office of the Human Rights Commissioner has been cooperating fruitfully
with many members of the Association, both bilaterally and multilaterally, including within the framework of the Eurasian Alliance of Ombudsmen. Through participation in the Association it will be possible to establish equally strong ties with other members of the organization and to establish effective mutually beneficial cooperation to achieve our common goal - the promotion and protection of human rights and freedoms».
These events will provide an important platform for the exchange of views, knowledge and experience of professional human rights defenders.
It is only by working together that we will be able to resolve the problems that are being raised for the creative development of the world community, human rights and social justice.
