Reception of citizens detained in FCU IP-1 UFCIN Russia in Tatarstan
Discussion of problematic issues and available appeals is always more effective in direct contact with people, «on the spot».
In the capital of our republic there is Correctional Center 1 of UFSIN in the Republic of Tatarstan, where today near the end of the working day, together with the deputy head of the Department of the Federal Penitentiary Service in the Republic of Tatarstan, we held a reception of convicts.
Dealt with mostly their personal matters. Of course, many were aware of the possibility of commuting the sentence or commuting the outstanding part of the sentence to a more lenient one. The questions are different, but certainly important for convicted prisoners.
The conditions of detention of the convicts have not been neglected. After receiving the citizens, we checked the living conditions of the convicts' living quarters, the canteen and the organization of their meals.
And, as always, the Commissioner took personal control of the processing of petitions.
