Inspection of conditions of detention in FCU SIZO-5 UFSIN of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan
In order to ensure additional guarantees of State protection of the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of a person and a citizen, one of the tasks of the Ombudsman in the Republic of Tatarstan is to protect the rights and legitimate interests of persons, in places of detention, including those under the penal correction system of the Russian Federation.
For this reason, today employees of the Office of the Commissioner carried out a field inspection of the conditions of detention in the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan. Chistopol. A key component of the inspection is the interview with suspects (accused). During the dialogue no complaints were received about the conditions of detention in SIZO-5.
During the inspection of public places, some shortcomings were identified, which will be brought to the attention of the Chief of the Federal Penal Correction Service for the Republic of Tatarstan. It should be noted as a positive development that the SIZO-5 cells are equipped with televisions as far as possible in accordance with internal regulations.
