Visit to the Temporary Detention Center for Foreign Citizens in Naberezhnye Chelny
We received an invitation from the Consul General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Kazan to visit the Temporary Detention Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Republic of Tatarstan, located in Naberezhnye Chelny.
The main reason for the working meeting was the long stay of Uzbek citizens at the Centre. First Secretary of the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Kazan Razakov Azizbek Hayitovich attended the meeting. He held meetings with citizens of his country. Representatives of the Aliens Detention Centre, the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Federal Bailiff Service also attended the meeting.
The main issue discussed at the meeting was the earliest possible return of citizens to the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
As a result of the working meeting, a legal analysis of the current situation will be conducted and submitted to the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Kazan.
