In Kazan, a project on psychological support for parents raising children with RAS was launched. With our support this project is supervised by ANO «SPECIAL CHILDREN.TATARSTAN» and is implemented on the grant of the Presidential Grants Fund. The project "Reboot" will be a real support for parents of special children. It will help them to obtain the necessary psychological assistance, build a community of mutual support and improve the quality of life of their children.
A distinctive feature of the project is that the program of a series of meetings for group therapy is specially designed to take into account the characteristics of the parent of the child with autism. The therapy will be conducted by psychologists with work experience and with parents of special children and children with RAS.
The project will include 4 streams of group therapy for parents raising children with ASD, each of which will include 10 meetings on different topics. Each meeting will be followed by discussions on topics of concern to parents. This will help to create a community of ASD parents where they can communicate, share experiences and receive support.
The successful outcome of the project will be to improve the psycho-emotional state of parents raising children with spectrum disorder. Thanks to the help provided, parents will find the strength and moral resource to further help their child. A parental community will be established where parents can receive the necessary psychological assistance, exchange information and support each other.
