At present, older persons, pensioners and veterans are the most vulnerable social groups. At the same time, this category has a special status, determined by the merits to the Fatherland. Their support is the unconditional duty of the state.
The work of the Councils of veterans (pensioners) is undoubtedly worthy of all respect and, of course, their work is necessary and important.
Today, an employee of the Office of the Human Rights Commissioner in the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the joint retreat of the Plenary of the Council of the Regional Public Organization of Veterans (Pensioners) of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Council of Veterans (Pensioners) Verkhuslon municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan on the theme: "The main tasks of the Regional Public Organization of Veterans (Pensioners) of the Republic of Tatarstan in preparation for the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945, preservation of historical memory and perpetuation of heroism of the people in the Great Patriotic War"which was held in the district house of culture of the village Verkhny Uslon.
Public organizations carry out significant work on the preservation of historical memory and perpetuation of heroism of the people in the Great Patriotic War, carry in youth the word of truth about the Great Patriotic War, They work tirelessly and in many ways to preserve the historical memory of the war and the heroes.
The program of the event was very rich: a visit to the Hero Park, the museum of the youth club, laying flowers in the Square of the home front workers.
It is encouraging that veteran public organizations remember their predecessors and continue the work they have begun to preserve and perpetuate the memory of the heroic past of the country and people.
