In some cases, not only knowledge of the law, but also human participation are required to find a possible solution for complainants.
So, I received an appeal from the residents of Kazan about their eviction from the hostel, transferred on the right of operational management of FGBU VI «KNITU». During the review of the application, it was found that the applicants had no legal basis for living in the hostel. However, given the privileged status of most of the applicants and the lack of other accommodation available to them, we could not be left out of this.
In this regard, today a meeting was held within the Office of the Human Rights Commissioner in the Republic of Tatarstan with the participation of representatives of the Housing Policy Department of the Executive Committee of Kazan, FGBU VI «KNIT»as well as inviting applicants to seek accommodation for the residents of the hostel.
During the meeting, each of the applicants was offered preferential programs, created in our republic to improve the housing conditions of citizens, and for certain categories of citizens options for the provision of municipal housing.
The issues raised at today’s meeting remain under the Commissioner’s control.
