Meeting of the organizing committee on preparation and holding of celebration in the Republic of Tatarstan Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War
Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting of the organizing committee to prepare and hold a celebration of the Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War in the Republic of Tatarstan.
The meeting itself began with a moment of silence dedicated to the memory of the fallen heroes of the war.
Our task and sacred duty is to convey to children and grandchildren the historical truth about the great price our veterans paid for the victory. We have no right to allow distortion of pages of our history» - reminded us all Rustam Nurgalievich.
Preparations for the celebration of May 9 are in full swing. This holiday is very important and significant for Tatarstan residents. Even during the war years, Tatarstan, in particular Kazan, was one of the most important logistic centers, for which the city later received the status of «City of Labor Valor».
This memory and pride place the preservation of the historical memory of the mass heroism and dedication of our inhabitants on the list of the highest priorities, as evidenced by the ongoing work in this direction.
The meeting discussed important issues of preparation of the events, listened to colleagues. The words were given to the general director of the «Kazan State State Powder Factory» Alexander Livshits, chairman of the Veterans' Council (pensioners) of the Upper Uslon municipal district of Tatarstan Rimma Sergeevna Troitskaya, Eduard Sharafayev is also a member of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Rustam Nurgalievich emphasized the quality of preparation and holding of events and gave clear and constructive instructions.
As the end of the meeting Rais presented awards and gratitude to activists of republican and municipal veteran organizations.
