Technical means of rehabilitation are an essential component of medical and social rehabilitation of disabled persons. They are particularly important at the stage of adapting a person with severe limitations to complex environmental conditions. This specialized equipment allows people to feel more independent, confident and mobile.
The provision of persons with disabilities with TCD is carried out in accordance with the recommendations of the Individual Rehabilitation/Habilitation Programme (INRA) developed by the Medical and Social Assessment Institute (ITU). Such communications are always subject to the special attention and control of the Commissioner.
For example, I was approached by citizen S., a resident of Kazan, with a request to help in providing technical means of rehabilitation (medical tonometer with speech output and medical thermometer with speech output).
Having examined all the circumstances of this petition, We immediately sent a letter to the Managing Director of the Pension and Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Tatarstan to take measures to provide the applicant with the necessary means of technical rehabilitation.
We have been heard, the issue of providing a medical tonometer with speech output and a medical thermometer with speech output has been resolved. Today the author thanked us by calling my employee and saying: «Thank you so much for your work!».
