A round table dedicated to the 70th anniversary of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights was held at the Naberezhnye Chelny Institute (branch) of the KFU.
Elvira Miftakhova spoke about her long-term experience as a Public assistant to the Commissioner for human rights in the Republic of Tatarstan in Naberezhnye Chelny, introducing the audience to the frequent appeals of citizens, telling about the ongoing inspections, as well as rapid response to appeals coming from the GLONASS system.
Tamara Troshina told about the practice of working with the population of Nizhnekamsk and Nizhnekamsk region, who for 8 years of work as a Public assistant of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan received 800 appeals. The public assistant also told about numerous joint receptions of citizens with public authorities in the area, educational work aimed at improving the legal culture and legal awareness of citizens. "Only joint work gives positive results", - Tamara Vladimirovna summed up.
