On November 8, Commissioner for human rights in the Republic of Tatarstan Sariya Saburskaya together with members of the Public Council at the regional Department of the Federal penitentiary service - mufti adviser on social issues, head of the charity Fund "Yardem" Ildar hazrat Bayazitov and General Director of the NGO "Center for social rehabilitation and adaptation" Azat Gaynutdinov visited the Federal state institution of the Correctional colony-2 of the Russian Federal penitentiary service in the Republic of Tatarstan.
The visit took place in the framework of a charity event initiated by the Autonomous non-profit organization "Center for social rehabilitation and adaptation", in order to supply humanitarian aid in the form of bakery products (cookies, gingerbreads, halva) and tea to the hospital for prisoners of the Federal state institution of the Correctional colony-2 of the Russian Federal penitentiary service in the Republic of Tatarstan.
The leadership of the Federal penitentiary service of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan assisted in the charity event.
"This event is not the first, we can say, it becomes a good tradition. Representatives of the Center for social rehabilitation and adaptation and Fund "Yardem" with the support of caring sponsors not only from our Republic but also from neighboring regions, in coordination with the FPS already passed the convict is allowed confectionery," said Saria Saburskaya.
"Despite the fact that the food of convicts is organized at the proper level in the correctional institutions of the Republic, such actions are very important. This is a noble gesture towards people who find themselves in a difficult situation, especially who is sick. In addition to the transfer of charitable assistance, the delegation made a tour of the hospital for convicts. The guests talked to the patients and answered their questions.
