During a personal meeting, citizen I., a participant in a special military operation, approached me along with his wife, citizen N., a native of the Kyrgyz Republic. The application concerned the acquisition of Russian citizenship.
According to the applicant, the marriage took place in September 2022, but the process of obtaining citizenship for his wife was delayed. This situation required special attention, given that the applicant is a participant in the special military operation, and his wife was in the advanced stages of pregnancy.
In order to protect the applicants' rights, we contacted the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Tatarstan with a request to conduct a departmental review of the application's processing timeframe and, if necessary, to take appropriate action.
Following the review of the application, a decision was made to grant citizen N. Russian citizenship. She took the Oath of Citizenship of the Russian Federation in accordance with the established procedure and obtained a passport.
Thanks to the measures taken, this issue, which is of great importance to the applicant's family, was resolved positively!
