Another Legal Aid Day for inmates was held at Penal Colony No. 18 (Kazan). We traditionally organize such mobile consultations in collaboration with relevant agencies.
Specialists answered questions from inmates serving sentences at the facility, along with representatives from the Tatarstan Prosecutor's Office, the Tatarstan Bar Association, the Tatarstan Ministry of Labor, Employment, and Social Protection, and others.
The inmates' most frequent concerns include parole, pensions, medical services, and document restoration.
A significant number of inmates' questions also concerned disability registration or changes to disability status.
Such meetings help citizens receive qualified legal support on-site and better prepare for their return to civil society.
