Protecting the Rights of Children and Parents: Results of a Joint Meeting on Child Support Issues
A joint citizen reception was held in Kazan by the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Republic of Tatarstan and Nadezhda Valentinovna Tarasova, Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of the Federal Bailiff Service for the Republic of Tatarstan.
The issue of alimony collection remains one of the most sensitive: the interests of children and the well-being of families are at the heart of every case.
The following issues were addressed:
- Calculation and recalculation of alimony arrears.
- Enforcement measures against defaulters.
- Search for debtors and their property.
- The procedure for collecting payments if the debtor has changed jobs or residence.
Detailed legal advice was provided for each request. A number of issues have been given special attention by the Commissioner's office and the bailiff service leadership for prompt resolution within the framework of enforcement proceedings.
This format of interaction allows us not only to listen to a person, but also to find a legal solution to the problem on the spot and expedite the process of restoring violated rights.
