The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tatarstan summed up the results of work for 2025

An expanded meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan was held today, which reviewed the results of operational activities for 2025 and identified tasks for the coming period.

It was noted at the meeting that the internal affairs bodies had fully fulfilled the tasks of ensuring public safety. In 2025, public order and safety were ensured during 5,000 socio-political, cultural and sporting events. For the first time in the last five years, the republic has recorded a decrease in the overall crime rate, including crimes committed by previously convicted persons, while intoxicated and on domestic grounds. The number of crimes involving firearms decreased by almost a quarter.

In total, 47.3 thousand crimes were registered in the republic, of which more than 15 thousand were serious and especially serious. There was also a decrease in the number of crimes in the field of information technology. Over 2.6 million public services were provided to Tatarstan residents, and the level of satisfaction with their quality was 100%.

The Head of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, positively assessed the results of the department's work and stressed that the republic would continue to provide support to law enforcement agencies in order to create the necessary conditions for effective service.

At the end of the meeting, particularly distinguished employees were awarded state and departmental awards.
