Today, the Rospotrebnadzor Administration held a final board meeting to review its 2025 performance.
It was reported that the region's preventive vaccination plan has been 105% fulfilled. However, vaccination refusals remain a problem: 73% of refusals have been reviewed, but in seven municipal districts, the rates remain significantly below the national average.
It was noted that drinking water quality in the republic remains below the national average: only 14 municipalities have established sanitary protection zones at all water sources. Of the 27 beaches opened this summer in 20 municipalities, 18 had non-standard water samples. Air quality remains stable, with the proportion of non-compliant samples being less than 1%.
In the area of product quality control, over 77,000 food product samples were tested in 2025, with non-compliance detected in 4.9% of samples. During inspections at retail outlets, one in five product samples (22%) failed to meet hygiene standards.
Over the course of the year, Rospotrebnadzor of Tatarstan received over 17,000 citizen complaints, and over 92 million rubles were refunded to consumers. Complaints about educational services accounted for 23%, a doubling in number.
