Work of public assistants: results of the week in the regions of the republic
Local work is an important part of our activities. Every week, public assistants of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan actively work with citizens and participate in significant events.
So, last week:
✅ In the Tetyushsky district, our public assistant from Buinsk took part in the Voter's Day, which is held by the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the precinct election commissions of the Tetyushsky, Kamsko-Ustinsky and Kaibitsky districts as part of the preparation for the election campaign for the Raisa of the Republic of Tatarstan.
✅ In Naberezhnye Chelny, they took part in the consecration of the foundation stone of the Resurrection Cathedral of the Naberezhnye Chelny Diocese. The event was held as part of the visit of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus'.
✅ In the Leninogorsk district, together with the head of the client service of the Social Fund of Russia and the social coordinator of the branch of the State Fund "Defenders of the Fatherland" in the Republic of Tatarstan, we held a meeting with the families of the deceased special military operation participants. A number of issues were taken under control, some were resolved on the spot.
✅ In the Spassky district, we took part in organizing and holding a rally dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of Children - Victims of the War in Donbass.
✅ In the Arsky district, we participated in the work of the commission on compliance with the requirements for official conduct and the settlement of conflicts of interest.
✅ In the Bugulminsky and Zainsky districts, together with representatives of the prosecutor's office, we checked the conditions of detention of suspects and accused in temporary detention facilities. We inspected the cells, the exercise yard, checked the regime and conditions of detention. We talked to those held in the detention center - all of them are provided with bedding, dishes, hygiene products, and receive medical care if necessary. No complaints were received.
✅ In addition, joint receptions of citizens with heads of districts and heads of executive committees were held in Aksubaevsky and Pestrechinsky districts.
We continue to build systemic work in the districts of the republic so that no issue is left without attention.
