The issue is under control of the Commissioner
The Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan received a collective appeal from residents of Novoye Pobedilovo settlement of Kazan about violations of sanitary and epidemiological norms and norms in the field of environmental protection by a legal entity specializing in the manufacture of chains and springs.
From the content of the appeal it followed that the organization conducts noisy work at prohibited times, as well as air pollution. In order to prevent violations of residents' rights to peace and quiet, we sent this information to the Department of Rospotrebnadzor for the Republic of Tatarstan for consideration and inspection.
As a result of studying the information provided by us, the Department of Rospotrebnadzor conducted an unscheduled on-site inspection with the measurement of noise levels in the areas adjacent to the residential buildings of the 4th Pobedilovskaya Street in Kazan, which revealed violations of legislation in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population, expressed in violation of the requirements of current sanitary rules and hygienic standards.
At the moment the possibility of bringing the guilty person to administrative responsibility is being considered. This issue remains under the control of the Commissioner.
