The social service system is one of the most dynamic in the social sphere. Its level is the most important criterion and characteristic of modern society.

One of the varieties of social services is the inpatient form of social services, aimed at providing multifaceted assistance by providing a range of social services to elderly and disabled citizens, including disabled children, who have partially or completely lost the ability to self-care and, due to their health condition, need constant care and supervision, to carry out rehabilitation measures of social, medical and therapeutic labor character, to provide care and medical assistance.

Social services in the stationary form of social services, as defined by the Federal Law of 28.12.2013 N 442-FZ “On the basis of social services for citizens in the Russian Federation”, are provided to their recipients, including for a fee or partial payment.

Thus, I received an appeal from citizen K., who lives in one of the social service institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan, about the failure to recalculate for the provision of social services by the administration of the social institution to her and her spouse for the period of their temporary absence (undergoing treatment in one of the medical institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan).

Having studied all the circumstances of this appeal, I appealed to the Minister of Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan to conduct an inspection in the social service institution subordinate to the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan and to take measures within the competence based on the results of the inspection.

Based on the results of consideration of my appeal by the administration of the social service institution, the applicant and her spouse will be recalculated the payment for the provision of social services.
