Visits to places of detention by the territorial bodies of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Tatarstan
The year 2023 ends with visits to places of forced detention by the territorial bodies of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Tatarstan.
Within three days, a member of my Apparatus, together with a representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Tatarstan, visited the Agryz, Mendeleev, Yelabuga, Mamadysh, Ribno-Sloboda and Zelenodola districts, where conditions of detention in temporary detention facilities were checked, Special detention facilities for administrative detainees and special detention facilities.
The following premises were inspected together with the staff: cells, visiting rooms, interrogation rooms, exercise yards.
There were no complaints to the detainees about the conditions of detention.
Our successful collaboration will continue in 2024.
