Telephone hotline «Women’s attention»
Today in Kazan during the day there was a telephone hotline «Women’s attention» for the protection of the rights of persons with disabilities, as well as people with disabilities, dedicated to the Decade of persons with disabilities.
This year, the hotline together with the deputy association of the State Council «Merhamet - Mercy» was organized five times. The focus was on the organization of summer holidays for children, education, protection of the rights of the elderly, etc.
During the operation of the hotline today received about a hundred questions. The issues are very different, among them there are some that require further elaboration and appeals to the relevant ministers, heads of municipalities, as well as to the prosecutor’s office. There are questions concerning the health care system, for example, the allocation of vouchers for the sanatorium treatment «Mother and Child», the provision of medicines, including the provision of means for the care of recumbent patients, the determination of the disability group, There are also complaints in the order of their re-examination, especially those who have to do this once a year.
Today we answered questions about participation in state programs of mortgage lending (for the disabled), complaints about actions (or omissions) of medical personnel who refused to be referred for treatment procedures, to receive technical means of rehabilitation of the disabled, Guardianship and legal incapacity for the performance of 18 years of age, provision of transport for the referral of disabled children, etc.
