Round Table on Current Migration Issues in the Republic, held in the House of Friendship of the Peoples of Tatarstan
Today there was a round table discussion of current migration issues in the republic held in the House of Friendship of the Peoples of Tatarstan.
The round tables are held quarterly within the framework of an agreement concluded between the Assembly of Peoples of Tatarstan, ministries, departments and other organizations whose activities affect migration policy.
The leaders of the national cultural autonomous regions discussed the most pressing issues concerning the various spheres of activity of their compatriots in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting discussed the current state of affairs with regard to the expulsion of foreign citizens and stateless persons from the Russian Federation, as well as issues related to the observance of the rights of migrants, as well as compliance by the latter with Russian legislation.
