Meeting of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan
Today the forty-ninth meeting of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan the sixth convocation was opened. The agenda of the sitting, according to the decision of the Presidium of Parliament, included 15 issues, including 10 draft republican laws and 4 federal bills.
Draft laws on the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan and on the budget of the Territorial Compulsory Health Insurance Fund for 2024 and the planned period 2025 and 2026 have been prepared for the second reading. There were 200 amendments to the bill on the republican budget (during the discussion 17 amendments were withdrawn from the consideration of the authors, 183 amendments were included in the final table, all of them recommended for adoption). Ten amendments have been submitted to the TFMS budget bill, and they are also recommended for adoption by the Committee on Budget, Taxes and Finance.
A draft law on the patriotic education of citizens was also considered at the second reading of the Parliament. The bill was considered at a meeting of the State Council on 19 October with the participation of political parties not represented in Parliament. Their proposals were studied by the Committee on Education, Science, Culture and National Affairs and summarized with suggestions from citizens. The bill has six amendments submitted by the committee.
