Happy Constitution Day of the Republic of Tatarstan!
Today marks 31 years since the adoption of a special document in our republic - the Constitution of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The fundamental document adopted at the turn of the epoch became an expression of the will of the multi-ethnic people of the republic, its desire to preserve stability and strengthen socio-economic development. The Basic Law made it possible to organize effective work of state and local self-government bodies aimed at ensuring a decent life of citizens», - said in the holiday address of Rustam Minnikhanov Rais Tatarstan.
In Tatarstan, the post of Human Rights Commissioner was established in 2000 in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Tatarstan in order to strengthen the guarantees of State protection of human and civil rights and freedoms, Promoting their observance and respect by State bodies, local self-government bodies and officials.
Based on the fundamental norms and provisions of the Basic Law,
