Conference «Modern approaches of integrated social support and rehabilitation assistance to the participants of the SVO and their families, aimed at protection of rights and improvement of quality of life»

«The most important task within the framework of social support of SVO participants and their families is consolidation of efforts of public authorities, civil society and human rights commissioners» - the main topic of the speech of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation Moskalkova T.N. and the whole interregional conference «Modern approaches of complex social support and rehabilitation assistance to the participants of the SVO and their families aimed at protection of rights and improvement of quality of life», which takes place in Moscow on October 26-27.

 

The Conference participants discussed the experience of the regions of the Russian Federation in organizing various forms of social support for CBO participants and their families. In particular, it was told about the experience of Moscow and regions in protecting the rights and legitimate interests of CBO participants and their families; about the activity of the Moscow City Duma in social support of CBO participants and their families; about the work of the humanitarian aid headquarters «Moscow helps»Activities of the Fatherland Warriors Families Committee to support CBO participants and their family members and protect their legitimate interests.

 

The Conference was attended by Human Rights Commissioner of the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Anna Kuznetsova, Chairman of the State Fund for Support of Participants of the Special Military Operation «Defenders of the Fatherland» Anna Tsivilev, Minister of the Government of Moscow, Head of the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the City of Moscow Yevgeny Struzhak, Chairman of the Committee of Public Relations and Youth Policy of the City of Moscow Ekaterina Dragunova, Commissioner for human rights in the regions of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Moscow City Duma Alexey Shaposhnikov, Deputy Chairman of the Moscow City Duma Stepan Orlov, as well as representatives of civil society of the capital, leaders of public and non-profit organizations.
