Plenary Meeting of the August Republican Meeting of Education and Science
Today the plenary session of the republican August meeting of education and science workers took place. The event takes place at the B. Rameev IT Park in Kazan.
The meeting was attended by State Councillor Mintimer Shaimiev, Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Government of Moscow for Social Development Anastasia Rakov, deputies of the State Duma of Russia and the State Council of Tatarstan, rectors of universities, teachers.
Opening the traditional August meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov recalled that his topic - «Education of the Republic of Tatarstan: key tasks, moral guidelines, qualitative indicators».
The participants of the Republican Pedagogical Council considered the results of the activities of the teaching teams during the past academic year and will determine the tasks for the coming year.
Rustam Minnikhanov thanked the Federal Center, the Government of the Russian Federation, the Government of Moscow for its support and cooperation and expressed his gratitude to Russian Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov, Minister of Science and Higher Education Valeriy Nikolayevich Falkov for personal participation in the development of education in Tatarstan. He also thanked Russian President Vladimir Putin for declaring 2023 as the Year of Teacher and Mentor.
The meeting participants were shown a video message by Russian Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov.
Prior to the meeting, Rais Tatarstan visited a specialized exhibition, as well as talked with school graduates who scored the maximum number of points on the single state exam (exam), as well as with the winners of international, all-Russian Olympiads.
