Joint visits with environmental control (supervisory) authorities
The issue of protection of water bodies is among the topical environmental problems, which are noted by residents of Tatarstan. So only in GIS RT «People’s control» this year in the category «Water» 113 notifications were published.
The Office of the Commissioner cannot remain apart from such an important problem to date and participates in joint activities with representatives of monitoring (oversight) bodies.
Today, an employee of the Office of the Commissioner, together with representatives of the Kazan Inter-district Nature Protection Prosecutor’s Office and the Department of the Federal Nature Protection Service, took part in a field survey of the Kuibyshev Reservoir shoreline (r. Volga) In the Kamsk-Ustyi district, as part of the verification of information on violations of environmental legislation.
Based on the analysis of the information received, recommendations will be addressed to the responsible persons in order to prevent and further prevent violation of the environmental rights of our inhabitants.
On July 6, a public meeting of the Project Office for the implementation of the project «Regional Management Centre» will be held in the Republic of Tatarstan, where the most important environmental issues of the republic’s residents will be considered.
