Visit to FCU "Correctional Colony N10 UFCIN in RT"
The Supervisory Commission checked the conditions of detention of the Federal Penitentiary Service «Correctional Colony N10 UFSINH by RT» in the Mendeleev municipal district of Tatarstan.
Public Assistant of the Human Rights Commissioner in Tatarstan Gulia Balafendiyeva together with members of the Public Supervisory Commission of the Republic of Tatarstan checked the conditions of detention in the Federal Penitentiary Service «Correctional Colony N10 UFSIN in Tatarstan» as well as receiving personal condemnations.
The members of the commission held a working meeting with the management of the institution, checked the medical unit and the detachment where convicts with disabilities are held. The conditions of detention in cells and punishment cells were also examined.
During the inspection, foreign citizens and persons with disabilities were interviewed. Also, the mosque and church on the territory of the institution were visited. No complaints were received about the conditions of detention, and no violations were found.
