The human rights commissioners in the federal districts were organized into coordination councils. Their tasks are to identify and analyse systemic problems in the realization of citizens' rights, which are characteristic of most regions of the federal districts, and to cooperate in resolving these issues.
The Coordinating Council of Human Rights Commissioners in the constituent entities of the Volga Federal District comprises 14 constituent entities of the Russian Federation. Today we and our colleagues met in the EAC mode to discuss the All-Russian Coordinating Council and plans for the second half of the year.
It was decided to hold a retreat of the Coordinating Council in Samara in August 2023.
