Appeal decided positively
An integral part of the observance of citizens' housing rights is the provision of favourable and safe living conditions for citizens in an apartment building.
In November 2022, at a personal reception, I was approached by a citizen of R., a resident of Laishevo, about the systematic flooding of her apartment due to the leak of the roof of the house. The complainant stated that she had repeatedly contacted the management company to remedy the irregularities, but no action was taken.
We immediately sent letters to the State Housing Inspectorate of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Executive Committee of the Laishevsky Municipal District to verify the complainant’s arguments and take action. During the verification, the complainant’s arguments were confirmed. Due to the need for certain weather conditions and seasonal renovation of the roof of the apartment building, temporary measures were initially taken to eliminate the leakage of the roof, and the main work was postponed until spring.
At present we have received information from the local government of Laishevsky district that the management of the organization of the repair of the roof of the apartment building has been completed.
