14th Baku International Conference of Ombudsmen

The 14th International Conference of Ombudsmen has been held in Baku. Entitled "The fundamental principles of Sustainable Development Goals: legal equality, national priorities and cooperation". The conference is carried out under the supervision of Azerbaijani Ombudsman Elmira Suleymanova.

Participants from regions of Russian Federation in the Conference are the Commissioner for Human rights in the Republic of Tatarstan Sariya Saburskaya, the Commissioner for Human rights in the Kaluga Region, the Commissioner for Human rights in the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Commissioner for Human rights in the Republic of Dagestan.

Tatar Ombudsman Sariya Saburskaya will make a report regarding “Knowledge and opportunities of achievement Sustainable Development Goals in the work of the Commissioner for Human rights in the Republic of Tatarstan”

Sariya Saburskaya will also serve as a moderator of the 2nd session of the Conference, referred to as “International and national human remedies for human rights infringements on prevention of discrimination”.
